My poor nerves.
You know, on the days I have to get up super early, I can barely pull myself out of bed. But on the days I don't have to be up until at least 10:30, I'm up at 7:00. I just don't understand. I tried to sleep some more, but I think I'm out of luck on this one. *sigh* I'll never win.

Anyways, things for me have been going pretty well. My weekend wasn't too great, but they never are anymore. And as for school... I had my first Intro to Early Childhood Education class Tuesday night. It was supposed to last from 6-9, but instead, it went from 6-6:40. My teacher's Aunt and Uncle's house had just burned down only hours before, and she needed to leave. Hell, I wouldn't have shown up at all (heh, look at me already trying to find ways out of school). It looks like this class is going to be pretty challenging. I don't know how much of a challenge I am up for, but I'll do the best I can.

Speaking of challenges though... I think English is going to be a hard one. Even though I took "college prep" in High School, I don't think it prepared me for shit. Those teachers babied us, and held our hands during those writing processes. Now that I am on my own, and I have a paper due soon, I don't even know where to fucking begin. I have an introduction paper to due for my Early Childhood class already (due Tuesday), and even though the paper is supposed to be all about me, I don't even know how to start my first sentence. It's almost sad, I feel so stupid for even trying. *shakes her head* Wish me luck.

Yesterday was quite a busy day for me. Probably one of the worst also. I would have preferred to go out with Amy because she asked, but I had too much to do. I had class from 8-8:50 and then a doctor's appointment at 9:30. By the time I left the doctor's, it was 10:30. And after I got back into Easton, I went home for 10 minutes, and then headed straight to work from 12-5:30.

Work was a day from hell though. Let me tell you... It was no picnic. First of all, we were short staffed, and on top of that, Kindegarten were off their fucking rockers. Especially my group, Kinder Kids 2. There are 3 particular kids who don't have an ounce of discipline at all. And it makes it so hard to keep them under control. When it was time to take them up to the gym, Ms. Marshall, Miss Patsy, and Miss LuAnne all had to come even though they usually don't. The walk up was terrible, gym time was terrible, and then I had to get those kids into a circle for snack in the all-purpose room. Yeah fucking right. They were running around, jumping on each other, screaming, Right as I was about to lose it, Ms. Marshall came to get me for the bus run. THANK GOD. Ugh. My nerves were worked and I had just about enough. Let me tell you how happy I am that I don't have to stay with the kindergaten past 3:00 anymore. It's a dream come true.

Other than all that, I've been doing pretty good. I think I would do better talking to Mrs. Brown like I did in High School, but she's not here, so I am on my own. I think I'll survive this one.

Until next time... :)

My triumphant return to work.
Well, I have a bit to update about the whole not working siuation.

Right as I finished writing the last entry, the phone rang. So I went downstairs to see who it was. It was Shirl from the Y (I screen phone calls sometimes) saying how they had found my missing child abuse clearance and that they were extremely sorry. She then said that I could return to work the following day. OMG, I was so relieved and so mad at the same time. Turns out exactly what I thought... Tammy misplaced the file somewheres else. Errr!

I have even better news though. Shirl called again, and this time I picked up the phone. She apologized again, and then told me that I was getting paid for the two days I didn't work. WOOHOO! :) Thank god, because I needed that money.

So besides that I was happy to return to work. The only bad thing was that I had to be with 2nd and 3rd in the afternoon instead of my normal group 1st and 2nd. Hopefully it was for one day only.

School is going well, just to let those who care know. The only problem I have besides having to wake up @ 6:30 in the morning, is that I always have to park so damn far away. And by the time I get to the college center, my whole fucking body is frozen. It's terrible, and I absolutely hate it! But other than that, I'm adjusting well. So, yay for me.

Alrighty, it's time for me to get up and do something productive. I think I'm going to go out and buy some new shirts today. Should be fun!
