8:15 AM - 02.15.2004 Charlie and I exchanged Valentine's on Friday instead of yesterday because we were going to be moving Amy all day and wouldn't really have any time. So I gave Charlie a candy dispenser filled with gobstoppers (his favorite) and then I gave him a balloon that says, "I Love You" and a card with penguins on it. Charlie got me... a card with penguins also on it, and he surprised me with the same exact ring I bought myself the other day from Kay jewelers. OMG! I didn't know what to say! I was so surprised! The only difference between this ring and my other one is the stone. The one I bought was my birthstone and the one he got me is amethyst (purple, my favorite color). Here take a look...
Anyways, Friday night Amy, Charlie, Jimmy, and I packed up both of our cars (mine and Charlie's) full of boxes. Then yesterday morning, the four of us and Jimmy's Dad, brother (Jordan), Step-mom, Step-sister, Aunt Denise, and cousin, Matt all drove up to the apartment and helped move everything in. Since we had so many people the move went quick. It was a bittersweet moment for me though. Friday night while we were moving everything, Amy and I had a moment and I started crying like crazy. I can't believe she won't just be down the street anymore. I mean, whenever I had a problem or needed someone to talk to or hang out with, all I needed to do was look out the front door to see if her car was there. Just those little things that make me sad. *sigh* But I'm happy she's happy. She needed this and I hope it all works out for her. So yeah, that was my Valentine's Day. Today Charlie and I are going up to Amy's to drop off her rabbit, and then we're going to Charlie's parent's house for dinner. A fun-filled day. Later kiddies.
